Well Pam and I are the hosts next Saturday evening - the date was specially chosen to coincide with the vegetable and herb gardens coming into there own! so all is now set. The last couple of months have undoubtedly been difficult for many of us however, no finer remedy than to relax and enjoy the company of true friends combined with good food and wine - we are looking forward to the evening and have decided to drop the competitive edge and therefore many of our grandiose plans have been put to one side and simplicity will be our over riding theme for the evening!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Just off now to order the simple flower arrangements!
I ,for one, canny wait to taste the gastronomic delights that I know will await us at no.3. I heard also that professional entertainment is on the menu, (lessons in vegetable growing, is what I heard on the grapevine) OMG they have a grapevine. Wine will be flowing alright. I will reserve judgement until after the event. Can't wait to see my friends.
